The vulcanization procedure is the last process of tire production and takes the longest period of time. The quality of curing machine is so crucial that if there are mistakes happen the quality of tire would be severely affected. Accordingly, curing machines have to be able to exercise multiple actions under high pressure and temperature and maintain the quality at the same time. Kayton offers digital controlled curing machine by which all the functions could be under surveillance and controlled digitally, including green tire loading, mold up and mold down positioning, center post height positioning, PCI rim width adjustment, and many others. The touch screen of each curing machine can memorize about 100 sizes regarding production conditions and could apply the memorized data for adjustment automatically under operators’ request. If it is connected with computer, the memorization could be more. Two cavities of each curing machine could produce different tire size individually at the same time, and either one cavity could be stopped from production. Many of the motions could be controlled independently, include mold up and mold down positioning, center post up and center post down positioning, green tire loading, cured tire unloading, PCI rim pans distance automatic adjustment, platens and mold container temperature controlling (optional), and the controlling of internal heating medium of two cavities (optional).

The computer system could control and manage many curing machines regarding the production; operators could set all the conditions for tire production for either cavity, including curing medium schedule and other motions such as adjustments. Further, the computer system could monitor the conditions of each curing machines such as temperature and pressure curve chart of each cavity. All the saved history are accessed easily for further purposes. Moreover, the system could print out daily report, classified report, and curve chart report according to different requests.
